The Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club is excited to be hosting the 51st Annual Atlantic Bowls Championship. The event will be held September 5-8, 2024 at our club. We look forward to welcoming competitors from across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Quebec to our club again to compete for top honours.

- 10:00am-4:00pm- Green Available for Practice
- 12:00pm-4:00pm- Registration Open for Players
- 2:00pm- Atlantic Bowls General Meeting (Anyone is welcome to attend. Each province should have 2 voting representatives)
- 5:00pm- Team Photos (All players are to be in their provincial uniform for this evening's events)
- 5:30pm- Marshalling for Opening Ceremonies in the club parking lot for the Parade of Athletes
- 6:00pm- Opening Ceremonies
- Following Opening Ceremonies- Opening Reception in the Clubhouse
- Bowling commences at 8am (as per schedule in the official program book)
- 11:30am-1:30pm- Lunch (tickets must be pre-purchased)

- 6:00pm-7:00pm- Pre-Banquet Reception (Tickets must be pre-purchased)
- Both the Reception and Banquet will be held at the Dartmouth Senior Services Centre, 45 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth. Cash Bar available. On-Street parking is available on the surrounding streets and is available for free after 6pm.

- The banquet meal costs $30 and offers a choice of either turkey dinner or salmon, potatoes and vegetables with strawberry shortcake for dessert.
- Bowling commences at 9am (as per schedule in the official program book)
- Closing Ceremony with presentation of awards and the Sid Curry Trophy (for top province) will take place immediately after the final round of competition.

The 51st Atlantic Bowls Championship will be held in Nova Scotia from September 5th to 8th at the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club. Club.
ENTRY FEES
- Player entry fees are $45 per player ($40 goes to the host club, $5 goes to the Atlantic Bowls Association)
- The Provincial Associations are requested to issue a cheque for $800 ($40 x 20 players), payable to the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club and to forward the cheque along with a complete list of the team members *no later than August 16th to Ann Marie Siteman, Secretary, Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club, 2 Mount Hope Ave. Dartmouth, N.S. B2Y 4R4 or e-transfer the funds to [email protected] (you can email the names of all your team members to the same email address). All funds are payable at the same time for meals and guest banquet fees.
- The Atlantic Bowls Association fee of $100 per provincial team ($5 x 20 players) should be made payable to Patricia Albert and sent to: 705 – 199 Queen Street, Fredericton, NB E3B 0H5
MEALS
- Lunches will be served at the club on Friday and Saturday at a cost of $20 per day. Please indicate on the provincial registration form which meals players/guests are ordering. All meals must be paid at the time of registration. Please indicate if there are any food concerns that we need to be aware of such as food allergies, gluten-free, vegan, etc.
- Menu:
- Friday: cold plate- includes turkey, ham, potato salad and various salads, rolls and desserts, tea and coffee
- Saturday: quiche (various types- meat and vegetarian), salads, rolls and desserts, tea and coffee
- Also included with the meal plan- each day there will be a snack table featuring muffins, biscuits, fresh garden vegetables, fruit trays
- Banquet
- The Atlantic Bowls Banquet will be held on Saturday September 7th (7pm) at the Dartmouth Senior Services Centre. Banquet tickets are included in the competitor entry fee. Additional banquet tickets for non-competitors/guests may be purchased by August 16th at a cost of $30 per person (this includes attendance at the Opening Reception on Thursday September 5th).
- The banquet will offer two different meal choices: turkey or salmon, potatoes and vegetables, strawberry shortcake or peach cobbler. We must know the meal choice for each competitor/guest on the initial entry form (to be received by Aug.16th)

- There will be no designated host hotel for this event. There are many hotels in the Dartmouth area that are all within 20 minutes drive to the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club. Some potential options include:
