What is a Jitney?
A jitney is a casual game of bowls without regularly assigned teams. Just come on out and enjoy a fun game of bowls with your fellow club members. Following each game, there is usually a bit of social time following your game in the clubhouse (often with treats too).
​There are three sessions of jitney bowls during the week at the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club.

Wednesday Night Bowling
Time- 6:30pm for 7:00pm start
Cost- FREE
Coordinator- Debby Purdy

• Players earn points throughout the season through playing games on Wednesday nights toward potentially winning a trophy at the end of the season and bragging rights!

Friday Night Bowling
​Time- 6:30pm for 7:00pm start
Cost- FREE
Coordinator- TBA

• A traditional jitney session to end the week. Come on out and play alongside members from both Dartmouth and Bedford.

Sunday Night Bowling
Time- 6:30pm for 7pm start
Cost- FREE
Coordinator- Ann Marie Siteman

• You never know what's going to happen on Sunday Nights. Some nights, we play regular games and sometimes we have special "theme nights" to make things interesting. The main theme of Sunday Nights is fun and fellowship. All are welcome.
