Wet weather didn’t rain on our parade on this Canada Day in Dartmouth! Today, we had a great celebration at the club where we had an awesome meal directed by our own Sue Ellen Horne and Gordon Foster (with contributions from many members) before our traditional Canada Day Jitney.
We had 5 rinks of action today (a bit less then usual due to the shift in timing due to the weather today) and there was lots of great shotmaking and fun by all. Congratulations to Larry Anderson, Ron Blakeney and Maureen Myers who won this year’s title with a tight 1 point differential win in the final standings. Thanks to everyone for coming out to celebrate and for bearing with us through the changes in plans. Happy Canada Day to all of our lawn bowls friends wherever you may be!
