John Siteman Wraps Up 2022 Canadian Youth with a Playoff Appearance

Update from John in Port Credit at the 2022 Canadian Youth Championship. After making it into the playoffs as the 6th overall seed in the event, John finished up his event with a 21-11 loss to the eventual silver medalist Brad Roden of Alberta in the quarterfinals. After 8 years of representing Nova Scotia on the Youth National level, I was so proud to make my first playoffs in Singles ever. No matter what the result was, I played my heart out for all of you back home. There were definitely some tears shed but that’s just because of all the amazing memories I’ve had and lifelong friendships I’ve made from our travels from coast to coast competing at this event. Though it may be my last game as an Under-25 representative, I’m right back into action in 8 days time when Team Nova Scotia head to Burlington to play in the 2022 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championship!
