On Monday July 27th, we will begin Phase 2 of our Return to Bowls. The LBNS Plan was reviewed successfully by the Province and our Club Specific Safety Plan was also reviewed and accepted by LBNS. We have more than 50 members who feel they are able to bowl during this next phase. For the members who know this is not their time to bowl, we are all hopeful for the 2021 season and look forward to seeing you on the green. Information on the plans can be found on our COVID-19 information page on our website here and in the documents below:
And, and equal thank you to all our members bowling. Everyone is taking the time to follow all the guidelines and act responsibly and safely for their own welfare and for the safety and welfare of fellow club members and people they are close to.

As we now get into July, we are excited to have finally received approvals to begin limited bowls activity under our LBNS Phase 1 Return to Play Plan. But one thing that we should always remember with any sport is a little bit of exercise to ensure that our muscles are ready for returning to the greens whenever that may be. Bowls England developed a few videos with some informative at home exercises that can help bowlers like us get ready for whenever we do get back out on the greens. You can check them out below: |
